My measurements are wrong

Check the drawing scale for that page. Type it into the 1: box and tap Set, or pick one from the Scale menu. If the sheet was plotted at an odd scale, use Scale then Calibrate from drawing and measure something whose length you know. The scale is stored per page and saved with the drawing.

Where is my work saved?

FreeBeam saves automatically as you work, on your device. There is no save button and nothing to remember. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

I bought Pro but the app still shows the free version

Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. This is what to use on a new phone, or after reinstalling. You will need to be signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with.

I have a redeem code

Tap any locked feature to open the purchase screen, then choose “Redeem a code”.

How do I place a point exactly on a line?

Tap the drawing and a magnifier opens, which hunts for the nearest feature - an endpoint, an intersection, a perpendicular. Tap anywhere inside the circle to accept the point it has found. Drag first if you want to nudge the crosshair; it moves slower than your finger so you can be precise.

Every button and tool is described on the Help page inside the app, with the buttons shown exactly as they appear on screen.

Reporting a problem

The most useful reports say three things: what you were doing, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. If it involves a particular drawing, say what kind of sheet it is - the size, whether it is rotated, how many pages. If you can attach the exported PDF or a screenshot, better still.
