Privacy Policy
FreeBeam · Last updated 9 September 2026
FreeBeam does not collect any data. Your drawings, measurements and markup stay on your device. There is no account to create, no server to upload to, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
What stays on your device
Everything you do in FreeBeam is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- The PDF drawings you open or import
- Your measurements, markup, takeoff counts, survey points and coordinates
- Drawing scales, coordinate datums and app settings
None of it is transmitted anywhere. FreeBeam works entirely offline and has no need for a network connection to do its job.
What we do not do
- We do not collect personal information
- We do not use analytics, crash reporting or advertising software
- We do not track you across apps or websites
- We do not have accounts, logins or profiles
- We do not access your location, camera, microphone or photo library
Files you choose to share
When you export a drawing, FreeBeam creates a PDF on your device and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is entirely your choice - whether you email it, save it to Files, or send it to another app. FreeBeam plays no part in that and keeps no record of it.
Purchases
FreeBeam Pro is a one-off in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account or your name. The app stores a single yes-or-no value on your device recording that a purchase was made, so your paid features keep working when you have no signal.
Children
FreeBeam is a professional tool for construction and surveying work. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect substantive changes.
